When advertising an item be sure to include the following :-

ISBN if a book ( a unique number given to each book found usually on the spine or cover)

Title

Author
It is important when searching and adding books that authors are accurately documented e.g. Vincent Powell – Smith & M. J. Billington. The search can then find the results based on two or more names.

Categories & Subcategories
Certain items may be hard to classify into categories and subcategories. For these reasons we have made certain categories to place items in. Should you believe a category or subcategory is needed please email martin@study-trader.com. If agreed the type will be added.

Description
Please ensure some details of description are added so as to attract attention and inform the interested party of certain features or qualities of the item and the Edition e.g. Second Edition. If the item is bulky it is advised to research the cost of postage i.e. the onsite postage cost comparison found on all pages and add any costs onto the description.

Location
It is necessary for you to choose where you are based. If you are at a specific institution select this. If an institution is not included email martin@study-trader.com your institution will be identified and if necessary added onto the site. If you are not now at that institution e.g. you are on another campus or have now left that institution please add this in brackets i.e. (Stockton Heath Campus). If you have left a particular institution please advertise any items from a new institution closest to your place of residence BUT specify in brackets i.e. (Graduated from Northumbria 2002) in the item description section.

Make sure all spelling is correct.

Price
Please check second hand sites to gain knowledge of the current value of a specific item and to know your competition. Take a look at study-trader.com to see if a similar item is already listed as guidance.
